Our Story

Providence Capital Financial Planning founder, Noah Behrman, with daughter

The Providence Capital story is one of resilience, perseverance & belief. It gets to to the core question we are all forced to answer in life - what do you really believe & are you willing to stand behind your convictions when circumstances seem impossible? 

​

I was faced with this very question in the Fall of 2023. Sitting at my kitchen table, listening to news that would change my life as I knew it. With it would come the greatest trials, lowest valleys & the most renewed perspective on life I have ever been given. I didn't know it at the time, but it would also would lead to the greatest blessings.

​

Within a matter of months, I found myself facing 2 of the most challenging places anyone can find themselves in. Single parenthood & building a company from the ground up. My life got a lot smaller, logistics got more complicated, it felt like rolling a boulder up a hill every day. The only thing I can attribute getting through this season was God giving me the strength & the wisdom to make it through.

 

I had 2 specific visions:

1. Be an amazing, present & emotionally healthy father

2. Build an authentic & efficient financial planning platform where clients & advisors can feel at home

​ The name "Providence Capital" is a testament to the ways that God provided in that season, and in many others in my life. Our logo is a bird in flight that symbolizes Matthew 6:26 which says:

 

"Look at the birds of the air; they do no sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (NIV)

Since then, we have grown our team with people who are equally passionate about authenticity & advocacy in financial services. Where clients don't have to question whether if they are being treated with respect & fairness. Where top-tier service & ideas are an everyday agenda for us.
